A TRIO of groups at Glusburn has received a boost.
Funeral director Emmott & Bradley handed over a £2,000 cheque to the village's community and arts centre.
The money will support the activities of the indoor bowls, funky flowers and creative stitch groups at the Colne Road base.
It is the third year Emmott & Bradley has backed the centre.
"We are keen to be supportive of activities within the local community," said David Thornton, for the company.
Thanks were expressed by Roy Attwood, the centre's vice-chairman.
The indoor bowls group meets from 1.30pm to 4pm and 6.45pm to 10pm on Tuesdays, and between 1.30pm and 4pm on Thursdays.
Funky flowers workshops are held monthly, on Saturday mornings and Wednesday afternoons.
And creative stitch takes place on Tuesdays, from 10am to noon.
