KEIGHLEY people are being urged not to forget their sight as they embark on New Year fitness regimes.
Charity Fight for Sight has issued advice for keeping eyes healthy.
Tips include having your eyes tested every two years, wearing sunglasses even in winter sunshine and maintaining general health and fitness.
A Fight for Sight spokesman said: "Sight is the sense that people fear losing the most and many don't realise you can actively look after it.
"Regular check-ups are vital even if you have no symptoms.
"Eye tests should be a part of everyone's normal healthcare routine.
"By following this and other advice you can help look after your sight."
