A COMPANY based in Keighley has launched its latest awards scheme to celebrate the hard work and dedication of young trade apprentices.
Screwfix, which has its Keighley premises in Worth Way, is looking for entrants for its Apprentice Award 2018.
The winner will be rewarded with an ultimate prize package worth £10,000 to help them to step onto the career ladder.
The best regional entries from Yorkshire and Humber will be selected to go head-to-head at a national final at Google headquarters in London.
Screwfix chief executive officer, Graham Bell, said: “We truly believe that we, along with the rest of the industry, have a duty to support the next generation of tradespeople.
"Therefore, it’s important we play our part in encouraging and inspiring those who've chosen to undertake an apprenticeship.
"Our Trade Apprentice Award is one of the many ways we are highlighting the importance of apprenticeships and supporting those who are starting out in a career in the trade.”
Entries are open until March 4. Eligible people interested in taking part can visit the business's Keighley property, or visit screwfix.com/sfta to complete an application form.
