THE poor standard of planning applications received by a Worth Valley parish council for consideration came under fire from the council’s chairman.
Cllr Ken Eastwood, of Oxenhope Parish Council, was commenting during his council’s monthly meeting.
“The quality of some of these applications is shocking,” he said. “What can the local authority [Bradford Council] do to tackle this?”
Cllr Peter McManus responded that the district council does not have the power to improve the quality of these documents.
