KEIGHLEY-born TV weatherman Paul Hudson is forecasting tough times ahead.

He and BBC Look North colleagues Harry Gration and Amy Garcia set off next Thursday, March 15, on a tour of Yorkshire – pushing a sofa.

They plan to visit 50 places in eight days.

The gruelling challenge is part of Look North’s 50th-birthday celebrations and to raise money for Sport Relief.

On Sunday, March 18, the leg will start at Bradford and take in a route including Wilsden, Harecroft, Cullingworth and Haworth.

“It would be fantastic if people could come along and join us on the route,” said Paul.

“I love meeting our viewers and their support really will make all the difference, particularly as we try and drag the sofa up those setts in Haworth!

“The route is 100 miles in total, which I think is going to be really tough.”
