FAMOUS scientists were everywhere you turned at Wilsden Primary School.
Albert Einstein, Marie Curie and Thomas Eddison – to name but a few – could be seen in the classrooms.
Pupils dressed as the figures from history as part of a science day.
The initiative was aimed at encouraging interest in STEM subjects – science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
A slime-making session was led by Sublime Science, a Dragons' Den and Queen's Award For Enterprise winner.
More than 380 pupils at the school, a Focus-Trust academy, took part in the activities.
Headteacher, John Davison, said: "We are all responsible for ensuring that the education system inspires interest and enthusiasm for STEM subjects.
"As a trust we place great importance on preparing our students for life in modern Britain, which has made significant scientific advancements over the years.
"We are delighted that our children were able to experience scientific experiment and exploration first-hand, which demonstrated some of the fundamental principles of science and put their learned theory into practice – whilst having fun!"
