The first Keighley Krawl festival attracted more than 1,300 music fans to the town centre on Sunday.
They watched dozens of acts — both big-name bands and local artists — playing a wide range of styles.
Hundreds of Keighley people were joined by music lovers from across the Yorkshire region.
Major performers included rappers Goldie Lookin Chain, folk queen Martha Tilston and guitar maestro Steve Phillips.
The headline concert at Victoria Hall featuring 1960s band The Animals did not attract as many people as expected.
But the other four main venues were all packed as the festival reached its climax on Sunday night.
These included St Anne’s Social Club, where the day’s performances were sponsored by the Keighley News.
Keighley Town Council and Bradford Council each provided £5,000 towards the £25,000 costs of the non-profit-making event.
The event was organised by Marie Watmough, from Keighley Musicians Centre, and her partner, cafe owner and music promoter Jym Harris.
Marie said: “All in all the Krawl went down really well. It was surprisingly smooth. The feedback was amazing. Lots of people have said they loved it. They were asking if it will be held next year.”
Marie wanted to thank the many volunteers who helped on the day, most of whom were her family and friends.
Insp Wayne Horner, of Keighley Neighbourhood Policing Team, this week praised the organisation of Krawl when he spoke to Keighley town councillors. He said he had found a very good atmosphere while touring the venues involved in the event and would be happy to support future events.
