A home is being sought for a young dog found tied up and emaciated outside Keighley’s police headquarters.
Daisy – a German Shepherd cross, aged about three – has been recovering in RSPCA kennels since she was found early last month.
The charity’s branch administrator Pam Laking said Daisy was now physically well but was still weak and emotionally scarred.
“She has been through a lot and is timid – she needs an adult-only quiet home to help her relax and realise that a home can be a happy, safe and fun environment,” she said.
Help with Daisy’s medical and boarding costs was provided by Saltaire removal and storage company George Pickersgill & Sons, after staff read about her plight in the Keighley News.
