Keighley company Citrus Vehicle Solutions is sponsoring two men driving a “banger” across Europe.
Nathan Metcalfe and Alex Brearley will compete in this year’s Motoscape Banger Rally. They have to drive across five countries in five days in a car that cost no more than £250.
They will travel more than 1,000 miles from Bradford to France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and finally Italy.
Citrus spokesman Sara Dawe said proceeds of the journey would be split equally between Macmillan Cancer Support and the Bradford Burns Unit.
She said: “What makes this journey even more significant is that it is eco-friendly as the carbon emissions from this journey will be completely offset.”
Nathan and Alex are seeking corporate sponsors, as well as personal donations.
