Get writing and start to rhyme, contest means it's poetry time

8:00am Sunday 18th March 2012

There’s rhyme and reason to the latest activity organised by the Temple Row Centre.

A poetry competition is being staged to raise money and awareness of the Keighley community centre.

The first prize is £50 and there may be additional prizes depending on the number of entries.

There are no restrictions on age or the length or subject of poems, but they must not have been published previously.

Entries should be submitted on white A4 paper with a separate sheet showing name, address, phone number and first line of the poem.

They should be sent with a fee of £3 to Poetry Organiser, Temple Row Centre for the Disabled, 23 Temple Row, Keighley BD21 2AH.

The closing date is March 30 and entries will not be returned. More details from (01535) 606700.
