Fun activities for everyone during school

Activities for children and young people with additional needs are being held across the district during the school summer holidays.

The programme includes Stay and Play sessions at Phoenix School in Keighley, with activities ranging from messy play and model making to sports and music.

Councillor Ralph Berry, Bradford Council’s executive member for children and young people, said: “We know how important it is that all children are able to enjoy the same opportunities as their siblings and friends.

“These events are part of our commitment to ensure that the needs of children with disabilities are not overlooked and they are able to have fun together with family and friends.”
