Royal Oak smoking area in running for UK title

The Royal Oak in Damside, Keighley, has won an award for its outdoor smoking facilities.
The pub has been named as a winner in the Best Smoking Area 2012 category of the Great British Pub Awards.
Judges visited all the competing pubs including the Royal Oak, which is run by James Lea.
The pub will now go forward to the Great British Pub Awards final in London next month, hosted by comedian Jason Manford.
It will compete with five other winners for the UK Best Smoking Area title, as well as having a chance to win the overall title of Great British Pub of the Year.
The awards are organised by pub industry magazine the Publican’s Morning Advertiser.
