Children in Need 2007
Pudsey Bear had a shiny silver glow after Oakworth Primary School pupils decided to fill him with 5p coins. Managers at Money Tailor, in Keighley, had a hair-erasing experience to boost funds for Children in Need. Staff at Rotherwood Recruitment - in Cavendish Street, Keighley - donned their nightwear to boost funds for the appeal. Staff and children at Bridge House Day Nursery, in Steeton, donned fancy dress to raise money for Children in Need. These pupils at Holycroft Primary School in Keighley paid for the privilege of not wearing uniform last Friday and raised £243 for Children in Need. These apprentices at Airedale Hospital, in Steeton, raised £820 for Children in Need with activities on a "pyjamas and dressing gowns" theme. They collected around the hospital and staged a guess-the-name-of-the-teddy contest and raffles. Paul Tremethick became detached from his tache to raise cash for Children in Need. |
