KEIGHLEY artist Ben Snowden will exhibit his work far and wide during the first few months of 2018.

The acclaimed artist is displaying his paintings in Bingley, Harrogate, Thornton, and St Abbs in Scotland.

He is currently taking part of group shows at the Bingley Gallery in Bingley, which finishes on February 18, and the Number Four Gallery in St Abbs, which finishes next month.

Starting in February 9 will be another group show, Winter Exhibition, at the Silson Contemporary in Harrogate amongst established and emerging artists until April 13.

The South Square Centre in Thornton, which has a flourishing art gallery, features’s Ben’s paintings for sale at both the Plenty at the Square vegetarian cafe and Rushworth’s Fine Art Framing.

Fans can alsobuy Ben’s paintings at the gallery shop at Sunny Bank Mills Gallery in Farsley.

Ben, who is now based in Bradford, creates paintings influenced by poetry, the figure and the natural world.

He said: “I work with a variety of different mediums such as graphite, spray paint and enamel paint on materials such as paper, fabric and board.

“2017 was a very busy and productive year for me as an artist. I’ve been working on a whole new series of abstract paintings that focus on colour, form and texture.”

Ben has exhibited work in Yorkshire, London and Scotland alongside such artists as Enzo Marra, Mandy Payne, Andrew Salgado, Frank Auerbach, Sir Terry Frost and Sandra Blow.

Ben was a finalist in the National Open Art competition 2015 at the Royal College of Art in London.
