Two to stand trial on drug possession charge

Amar Bashir, 21, of Bradford Road, Riddlesden, and 21-year-old Joanne Jeff, of Washburn Drive, Glusburn, have been committed for trial at Bradford Crown Court by Bingley Magistrates.

Both are charged with possessing cannabis and cocaine in Washburn Drive, on November 14 last year.

Bashir faces an extra offence of possessing criminal property on the same day.

The bench last Thursday committed them for trial on May 15 and remanded them on bail.
