One person was taken to hospital suffering from head injuries following a road accident at Cross Roads this morning.
The crash happened on the A629, about 50 yards from the mini roundabout in the direction of Flappit Springs, shortly before 4.30am.
Fire crews who attended the incident said a car had turned onto its side. No other vehicle was involved.

Two ambulances were called out.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "We understand there were three people in the car. We can confirm that one casualty, with head injuries, was taken to Airedale Hospital."
