KEIGHLEY people are being invited to show their pride in the district.

The town's social housing landlord, Incommunities, has joined with charities the Schools Linking Network and Reading Matters to launch a free photographic competition.

Entries could focus on anything people feel is representative of where they live – the residents, places, groups, buildings or landscapes – in the Bradford district.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for local people and businesses to share the beautiful and unique about the area and celebrate the pride they have in their communities," said Steve Short, for Incommunities.

The One Day in Bradford contest is split into three age categories – primary, secondary and 18-plus.

The best photos will be displayed in public spaces and businesses across the district and there will be a chance to win a Tesco Hudl.

The deadline for entries is November 28.
