Silsden Park Rangers 10 Morley Borough 32 A gutsy performance from the Division Three strugglers against a team from the league above them as they held the powerful forwards of Morley for large parts of the game.
With Silsden picking up key injuries to their already depleted side they played most of the match with only 11 players on the pitch.
Big defensive work from the Rangers kept the score to a minimum in the first half while they showed the away side, in the second half that they had some good attacking prowess with Tim Wilkinson scoring a long range effort and Steve Holmes squeezing in for a try in the corner.
This will give the Cobbydalers something to build on for next week's vital league game at Queensbury.
