New role for former Bradford Bulls player Davide Longo
Former Bulls and Keighley Cougars player Davide Longo has been appointed partnership manager with Leeds Rugby Foundation.
The 37-year-old, who has also played for Dewsbury, Swinton and Batley, will be a key member of the foundation’s team to build relationships with community businesses in Leeds and the wider region within LRF’s three sectors of sport, health and education.
Longo, who was general manager at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats until last month, will also manage their fund-raising strategy.
Leeds Rugby Foundation is Leeds Rugby's charity that delivers projects in the heart of the community, harnessing the power of sport to make a lasting, positive impact on individuals' lives.
Longo said: “I am thrilled to have joined the ever-growing team at Leeds Rugby’s official charity, Leeds Rugby Foundation.
“I feel I have a great deal of experience gathered over the years and hopefully I can count on that experience here at the Foundation.
“The Foundation does some fantastic work throughout Leeds and I am looking forward to being a part of that, helping to change many more lives.”
