Ovenden West Riding held onto top spot in the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division after a 3-2 victory over Tyersal.

An early goal from Tyersal’s Damian Rushworth put the pressure on the visitors, who, with a Robbie Graham penalty and a Mat Devlin strike, edged into a 2-1 half-time advantage.

Jordan Coduri increased Ovenden’s advantage before a late goal from Mark Beale reduced the arrears.

Campion took the game to opponents Lepton Highlanders from the start but failed to capitalise on their chances and found themselves a goal down at half-time to a Gary Bradley strike.

The second half was a complete turnaround as Campion finally found their scoring touch, with Omar Habeeb and Jordan Aird both scoring twice to add to a Lincoln Donaldson goal in a 5-1 win.

Steeton travelled to champions Bay Athletic, only for Andy Holden’s double strike for the visitors to be more than cancelled out as the hosts had Craig Burns (2) and Kitson Gale on target in a 3-2 win.

Salts' poor form continued as they slumped to a fifth consecutive league defeat - a 5-2 setback at home to Golcar United.

Littletown moved up into sixth after goals from Kyle Douglas and Ricky Newman gave them a 2-1 home success over Huddersfield YMCA, while Storthes Hall showed bottom-placed Hall Green United the way in a 7-1 victory, Tom McReadie scoring four of the goals.

Hunsworth extended their perfect start in Division One to seven games after cruising to a 6-0 home win over Bay Athletic Reserves, Dale Wright and Lee Brook both netting twice to add to others from Andrew Wood and Joel Farrar.

Leaders Ventus Yeadon Celtic trailed at home to an Elliott Chambers goal for Storthes Hall Reserves but gained a valuable point in a 1-1 draw with a second-half equaliser from Kyle Shah to keep them two points clear.

Wibsey, with two goals from Phillip Brogan to complement others from Mick Burke, Mick Walton and match-day signing Joe Brooksbank, found their scoring touch to beat Campion Reserves 5-1 and make it three consecutive victories.

West Horton were also among the goals as Lee Smith (3) supplemented others from Mudajar Rajas, Ebad Rashid and Fasal Ali in a 6-2 victory over Steeton Reserves, while Salts Reserves picked up their first league win of the season when Mat Bailey scored twice in a 2-1 scoreline at Westbrook YMCA.

Dudley Hill Rangers hit double figures in their Division Two fixture at Kirkburton Reserves, with Roman Zuric helping himself to four, Nico Carrucciu three, Ryan Starr two and Dominic Staunton one in a 10-0 victory.

Rangers, however, are still three points adrift of leaders DRAM Community, who tasted defeat for the first time when they lost 3-2 at home to Lower Hopton Reserves.

Bradford slipped into bottom place following their 4-1 home reversal to Littletown Reserves.
