Cononley Sports moved to the top of the Craven League Premier Division after coming from behind to win 4-3 at home to Cross Hills.

The visitors led 3-2 at half-time thanks to goals from Ben Dewhirst, Robert Matthews and Andrew North.

But two from Shaun Greene and further goals from Angus Moffat and Lee Thompson saw Sports claim a victory which takes them above Skipton LMS, who have two games in hand.

Matthew Brown’s goal saw Cowling secure a draw at Wilsden Athletic. The result sees Cowling stay level on points with Athletic and ahead of them on goal difference in sixth.

Silsden Whitestar overturned a half-time deficit to beat Pendle 2-1 away from home in Division One.

The win sees them move three points clear of their opponents into seventh, with three games in hand over fifth-placed Chatburn.

Andrew Fox and Liam Fothergill goals were not enough as Ingrow & Worth Valley went down 5-2 at home to Skipton Town in Division Two.

Cononley Sports Reserves helped continue Cross Hills’ pointless campaign with a 4-0 victory away from home.

Second-placed Broomhill moved to within five points of top spot after a 3-0 win over Grindleton Reserves in Division Three.

Andy Tanner converted a Simon Harris cross before Ben Manning made it 2-0 at half-time.

With Broomhill battling against the blinding sun in the second half, Grindleton dictated play and could easily have made it 2-2 were it not for some impressive saves by Jake Yaxley.

However, against the run of play, man of the match Tanner scored his second of the game ten minutes from time to seal another victory.

Anthony Cooper’s hat-trick helped Oxenhope Recreation to a 5-2 derby win at home to Sporting Keighley.

Tom Brown hit a free-kick low to the keeper’s right to give the home side the lead against the run of play.

Cooper opened his account by prodding home a Liam Walsh corner before Aaran Abbas made it 2-1 at the break.

A smart finish from Cooper extended the lead and, though Abbas added a second, the veteran striker clinched his hat-trick from the spot and Craig Morris added a fifth from a tight angle.

Cowling Reserves leapfrogged off the bottom of the table with a 3-1 at home to Ilkley.

Manningham Allstars surged to the top of Division Four with a 9-2 win over Sutton Reserves, Mohamed Sohail bagging four goals.

Polonia Patson and Pendle Renegades Reserves, who had occupied the top two, drew 2-2.

Shane Dwyer’s hat-trick was the highlight in Skipton Town Reserves’ 5-2 win at home to Ingrow & Worth Valley Reserves.

Bradley Reserves came from behind at half-time to win 3-2 against Carleton Reserves, a result which sees them jump ahead of them in the table.
