For the third week running, the number of scheduled West Riding County Amateur League games was reduced by the grounds being saturated and, with water lying on top of many pitches, made the chances of any play impossible.

Tyersal who had eased their Premier Division relegation fears the previous week with a 5-1 home win over Halifax Irish, failed to move further away from demotion when their bottom-placed opponents Hall Green United, without a league win in their previous 14 games gave themselves a glimmer of avoiding the drop with a 2-1 victory.

Arron Gibson gave Tyersal a first-half advantage before Clinton Firth and Stephen Berry netted in the second half for the visitors.

Salts had to settle for a point at Halifax Irish after a 1-1 draw. Sam Waterhouse put Salts ahead in the first period before John Cullen converted a late penalty for the home side to deny Salts victory.

Campion’s unbeaten away from home tag was surrendered at second-placed Kirkburton when they were edged out by the odd goal in seven.

Danny Ingham, Damian Sykes, Daniel Morgan and a Campion own goal were on target for the home side, while Fabian Evans, with his first goal since transferring from Tyersal, Liam Charles and Terry Hargreaves netted for Campion.

Salts Reserves hit the goal trail in Division One with an 8-0 home victory over visitors Tingley Athletic.

Richard Magson (3), Tom Boldy (2), Kyle Raper, Mat Murphy and Daryl Foster were Salts Reserves' marksmen.

Overthorpe SC stay at the foot of the table after losing 2-1 at home to Storthes Hall Reserves, with Elliott Brooke scoring a consolation after Luke Robertson and Jordan Smith had netted for Storthes Hall Reserves.

Dudley Hill Rangers moved closer to promotion from Division Two with a 5-1 home success over basement side Bradford FC.

Roman Zurik and Nico Carrucciu both scored twice to add to a fifth from Alex Woolley, while Hedar Khuddamee netted the sole consolation.

The League are fully represented in the latter stages of the local FA District Cup competitions.

Littletown, with a 6-2 home victory over Thornhill, and Lower Hopton, who won 9-0 at Woodkirk, clinched semi-final places in the Heavy Woollen & District FA's Wheatley Cup, while Ovenden West Riding made sure of their place in the last four of the Halifax & District FA Cup with a 12-2 mauling of their hosts Holmefield.

Golcar United and Storthes Hall clinched places in the last eight of the Huddersfield & District FA Cup, Golcar having a 3-2 victory over Huddersfield League side Slaithwaite, while Storthes Hall beat Premier Division rivals Bay Athletic 3-2 in a penalty shoot-out after the two side finished level at 4-4 after extra-time.
