Cougars enjoyed some pre-season training with a difference on Sunday.

Rather than take on another friendly, the whole squad went on a team-building exercise at High Adventure Outdoor Education Centre in Cowling.

They took part in activities such as sumo, archery and tackling some ‘death-defying’ high ropes.

Keighley head coach Paul March said of the bonding trip: “It was a very successful and indeed beneficial experience for us and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

“I’d like to thank High Outdoor for having us.”

A message on the centre’s Facebook page read: “We enjoyed having the Keighley Cougars here for team building – the weather was kind to them, even if the instructors weren’t!”
