Keighley have been hit by a string of unavailabilities as they look to back up their home derby victory over North Ribblesdale.

Prop Craig Spencer, lock David Iliff, flanker Shaun Minikin, scrum half Ian Woodwiss, centre Liam McGee and replacement Danny Drake, who all featured in the derby last Saturday, are missing Saturday’s match at Doncaster Phoenix as Keighley continue their battle to avoid relegation from SSE Yorkshire Division One.

Keighley’s director of rugby Graeme Sheffield said: “Shaun is out for a fortnight with concussion, and there is also a slight doubt about hooker Will Armitage, who is having to travel direct.”

Paul Sinfield, Jimmy Walker, Sean Everett, Nathan Berry, who will be making his debut at centre, and Shaun Everett come into the squad, while Josh Hannah is promoted from the bench to the back row.

Sheffield said: “Phoenix have lost their last two and we will give a big effort, as we always do.”

Keighley (at Doncaster Phoenix): L Everett; S Blakeley, A Ebbrell, N Berry, S Walker; D McGee, O Mitchell; P Sinfield, W Armitage, S Booker, J Walker, S Welch, J Hannah, L Sugden, D Pullen. Replacements: O Sugden, S Everett, A N Other.
