Campion will be looking for all three points to strengthen their bid for the runners-up spot in the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division when they travel to second-from-bottom Lepton Highlanders on Saturday.

Lepton claimed two successive promotions upon joining the league four seasons ago but defeat would virtually mean they are relegated - a fate they only escaped last season when Hunsworth‘s ground failed to reach the criteria required for Step Seven of the National League System.

Tyersal, who require six points from their final six games to ensure their top-flight status, entertain Huddersfield YMCA at Arkwright Street (2.30).

After drawing 3-3 with their opponents last week, a victory would put Tyersal, who have played one game fewer, level on points with their opponents.

Steeton, with eight league games left, will be seeking as high a finish as possible before taking on Field in the final of the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup on Monday May, 19. On Saturday, Steeton visit Golcar United, who are seventh, just one point behind them.

Hunsworth, who want only nine points from their final six Division One games to ensure promotion, will be looking for three of them off visitors Campion Reserves, who they beat 2-0 last Saturday.

Lower Hopton and Ventus Yeadon Celtic, who are vying for second place, have four games each left to play.

This weekend, Mirfield-based Lower Hopton are at Storthes Hall Reserves, while Ventus host Tingley Athletic.
