Keighley Town 4 Bradford Phoenix 1

Two goals in each half saw Town get their hands on the Keighley FA Sunday Cup to make up for losing in last year’s final.

Goals from Craig Morris (2), Leroy Hickman and Leon Smith saw the Wharfedale Triangle side get the better of their Bradford Sunday Alliance opponents at Silsden’s Angel Telecom Stadium.

Town enjoyed the majority of possession throughout but they needed two goal-line clearances from captain Liam Bellamy as Phoenix missed a string of chances.

Keighley also created plenty of opportunities but the Phoenix goalkeeper proved a solid obstruction in their way.

John Robertson was Town’s man of the match.
