KEIGHLEY’S promotion hopes continued to fade last week after their six-wicket defeat at Baildon, coupled with Saltaire’s eight-wicket win over Gomersal, left them 38 points off second place in Bradford League Division Two.

He took 4-19 and was backed up by fellow spinner Mushtaq Ahmed (4-22) as Keighley were dismissed for just 95.

The league’s all-time record run-scorer Richard Robinson provided the only resistance with an unbeaten 31.

The Jenny Laners were powered to victory by their overseas player Waqas Maqsood.

He struck an unbeaten 55 to see them home.

Undercliffe’s innings was dominated by a fine unbeaten 93 from Ahmad Raja.

Saltaire are favourites to go up with Undercliffe after brushing aside Gomersal.
