SSE Yorkshire Division Two
Old Rishworthians 48
Keighley 29
KEIGHLEY profited in the second half from taking on Old Rishworthians up front but it was too late for them to save the game by then.
Prop Craig Spencer added two tries to complete his hat-trick and hooker and skipper Will Armitage and No 8 Leigh Sugden also crossed, Danny Mcgee adding a conversion, Rish replying with a penalty by Anthony Shoesmith.
The hosts were quickly out of the blocks, former Cougar Andy Shickell driving down the middle before offloading, winger Joe Billing scoring and Shoesmith converting.
Spencer replied for the visitors but Rish's expansive game brought tries for winger Shoesmith and props Luke Rawnsley and Ryan Mudd, Shoesmith adding two conversions.
In the second half, replacement forward Phil Kershaw crossed under the posts, good hands in the backs leading to a further try for Billing, Shoesmith converting both.
