COUGARS player-coach Paul March has been reunited with his twin brother David after signing him on a one-year deal for next season.

The former Hunslet captain will arrive at Cougar Park when pre-season training starts next month.

He said: “I’m delighted to be joining up with Paul again.

“He had a very good squad last year and was unlucky to be relegated and most of the squad are staying and I’m looking forward to been part of something special next year.”

March helped Hunslet to promotion earlier this month with a win over Oldham in the Championship One play-off final at Headingley.

He added: “That feeling was great and I want to experience it again with Keighley.”

Cougars boss March said: “I’ve been wanting David to join us since I took over as coach he’s one of them players you want on your side and not playing against you.

“He offers so much with ball in hand and is a very strong defender, he’ll also be a good cover to Jonesy (Danny Jones) in the goal kicking department.

“We started our careers together and we are going to finish them together having achieved something.”
