Oakworth Wasps u-14s 15 Nab Wood u-14s 3

Wasps were far too strong for a depleted Nab Wood side and were soon well in the lead. However, the visitors kept going and scored two break away goals before half-time.

In the second half the goal-scoring slowed down as Nab Wood improved, scoring the final goal. Wasp scorers were Luke Hegarty (5), Josh Rule (4), Liam George (3),Tom Boddy, Danny Smith and Sam Nicholson. Jack Ferrugia was man of the match for his excellent all-round play.

Silsden Dragons u-12s 9 Campion A u-12s 2

After a three-week break Silsden started slowly against a Campion side buoyed by their first win the previous weekend.

Both teams struggled to get any rhythm going on the very heavy pitch, but it was the home side who opened the scoring through Jack Muir, who was lively throughout.

Campion responded immediately and levelled with a fierce shot from outside the box. As the game went on Silsden became dominant and began to pass the ball well.

Muir added two more goals to complete his hat-trick, which was matched by the prolific James Nelson. Captain Sam Winter scored an own goal but quickly made amends by putting the ball in the right net.

Jack Reynard made it eight and, with time running out, debutant Finlay Whitehead capped a fine performance with a well-taken header at the far post.

Keighley Shamrocks Crusaders u-14s 4 Calverley u-14s 1

Shammies showed great quality from the first minute with Tom Broadbent, Tom Ormerod and Jowe Polignone starting great passing moves from inside their own half.

One such move came from the excellent Broadbent, which broke down on the edge of the box but Harry Farnell pounced and scored an opportunistic goal.

Spirited Calverley fought back and forced a fine save from goalkeeper Lucas Roberts before equalising just before half-time.

Keighley emerged from the break with more energy to regain control. Dylan Ward created and scored a penalty after a fine dribbling run from the left. The enterprising Keenan Potts won a free-kick that was taken by Farnell and nodded home by Jack Hanson.

Dylan Murgatroyd capped off a great second half by starting a sweeping move that ended with Dominic Westcott side-footing home number four.

Sutton Rascals u15s 8 Nab Wood u15s 0

Rascals made a strong start and should have been at least 3-0 up in the first ten minutes, Ewan Bailey's thunderbolt striking the bar.

Ben Clarkson completed his hat-trick before half-time and Sutton continued to dominate after the break. Freddy Maddocks set up Clarkson for his fourth before Maddocks got the fifth with a fine shot which found the bottom corner.

A goalmouth scramble saw Clarkson grab his fifth and he claimed his double hat-trick when Ewan Bailey set him up.

At the other end, keeper Cameron Webster made two great saves to keep a clean sheet as Joe Smith completed a great win with a fine header from a Toby Jeffery corner.
