Cowling Harlequins were left kicking their heels for the second successive week - but they made sure they were active off the pitch by raising funds for their new under-eights team.
After being given a walkover at King Cross Park A the previous week, Quins were given the points again against Illingworth A, who were not able to field a side according to Pennine League rules as their first team have been refusing to play in the Premier Division.
Instead, Cowling raised £250 on a pub crawl for their new junior side, which is due to start training on Saturday, January 17 (10am) at Burgess Fields.
Any parents interested in their children attending can contact Daz Greenwood on 07905-519457. The club are also keen to attract new open-age players.
