INGROW & Worth Valley, whose main focus is on avoiding relegation from Division One of the Mastab's Craven League, have sprung a major knockout surprise.

The eighth-placed club, who could be in a demotion berth if Bingley Town and Bradley win their games in hand, triumphed 1-0 at title favourites Silsden Whitestar in a Division One Cup quarter-final, Wayne Mahomet taking the man of the match award for the victors.

Ingrow & Worth Valley are also still involved in the Northern Plant Hire Trophy, having a second-round tie at home to top flight Cononley Sports on Saturday, March 21.

Cowling, meanwhile, are in danger of dropping out of the Premier Division after a 5-3 defeat at Earby Town meant that they swapped places with their hosts, whose rise to tenth put them one position above a relegation spot.

Thabani Songo was best for Cowling, while Cononley Sports, who are immediately above Earby, lost 5-1 at home to Grindleton, despite the best efforts of Craig Gregory.

Leaders Cross Hills won 3-0 at fifth-placed Grassington United, with Phillip Rishton leading the way for the victors.

Zachary Conway was on target for Bradley, with Jordan Blackburn being man of the match in their 2-1 los at Pendle Renegades, while Division Two leaders Sporting Keighley opened up a four-point gap after a 4-0 home victory over basement boys Sutton.

Aaran Abbas struck twice to take his league tally for the season to 25 in 13 games, while Zain Abbas and Aatir Zuber Shehzad were also on target.

Junaid Taj and Zain Abbas earned the man of the match awards for Sporting, who had four regulars missing and gave debuts to three.

Sporting could have scored a more but missed a penalty, while Sutton kept battling and created chances of their own.

Goals from man of the match Mirdstaw Bak and Pizemyslaw Witch gave Polonia a 2-1 home win over Salts to stay fourth in Division Two but Nivard Trowers led the way for Oxenhope Recreation in their 5-0 home romp over Settle United Reserves as they remained fifth.

Also on target were Connor Madden, Paul Quinlan and substitute Liam Dyson.

Jonathan Rampling won the gong for Cross Hills Reserves in their 3-0 home setback against Pendle Renegades Reserves in Division Three, while Bradley Reserves lost 7-0 at home to Skipton Town Reserves, with Chris Hogg being the losers' man of the match.
