JONNY Teale notched a rare double playing for Bingley Congs' second team at home to Chatburn in the Craven League.

Not only did the skipper take all ten wickets for 14 as the Division Four visitors were rolled over for 24 but his maximum haul also included a hat-trick.

Congs had earlier been dismissed for 90, collapsing from 68-2 as Travis Bleazard took 6-26.

Airedale made 154-8 at leaders Hepworth & Idle, with Asad Ejaz making 41 and Paul Medley taking 3-17. The Westfield Laners lost five wickets in reaching their target, with Matthew Tinsley scoring 47 and Michael Newell 32.

Steady batting saw Haworth total 201-7 and Oakworth Thirds were then bowled out for 78.

Ten-man Glusburn struggled to 104-9 as Dan Oldfield claimed 5-24 and he followed this with 31 to help his side to victory by eight wickets.

Crossflatts were too strong for Wilsden, winning by seven wickets.

Division One leaders Bingley Congs travelled to Barrowford and were made to work hard for the points.

The Bull Holme side were dismissed for 114 and the Beckfoot outfit were indebted to Josh Nutting, who made 31 not out as they got home by three wickets.

Haworth, who were docked three points for playing an ineligible player, are second but they too were made to fight for victory at Foulridge.

The Noyna side were dismissed for 69, with Damian Rowell taking 6-29 off 15 overs, and the Bronte men lost seven wickets in reaching their target.

Ingrow St John's' batters were in good form in the Ribble Valley. They plundered 253-7, with Deepal Dissanayake making 40, Omar Khatab 51, Wasim Hussain 48 and Farhan Abbasi 39. Chatburn made 133 in reply as Sarum Qureshi took 5-16 off five overs.

Oakworth were at Embsay and built on a first-wicket partnership of 83 by Robert Hopkinson (38) and Jack Hainsworth (33) to post 198-9 as Ben Stockton took 4-49 and Ben Airey 3-29.

Elliot Stockton made 52 and Phil Binner 36 as the Shires Laners replied with 145. Adam Smith was the pick of the bowlers with 4-34.

Another side in good touch with the bat were Crossflatts. They rattled up 241-5 at home to Sutton, with Mohammed Adil making 65, Lee Bailey 49 and Josh Kazar 38 not out.

The Royd Hill side made 152 in reply, skipper Craig Thornton top-scoring with 56 as Will McLaughlan took 3-10.

There was a tight, low-scoring game at Haworth Road where Riddlesden were the visitors.

The Baildon Bottom side were knocked over for a modest 74 after being 41-8, with Mohammed Zulfiqar taking 4-23 and Amjid Hussain 4-25.

The Grange Road side were cruising at 43-0 but then found themselves in a dogfight as they collapsed to 49-7.

Goher Ayoub (20no) calmed things before they struggled home by just two wickets as Mohammed Hanif claimed 5-21.

Thornton and Cowling lead Division Two after previous front-runners Bradley tasted defeat for the first time.

Thornton were at Airedale and made 220-7 before the Bradford Road side were hustled out for 102, with Wayne Coppack hitting 56.

Cowling got home by six runs at home to Wilsden. The Coliseum side made 150-9, with Martyn Dalby scoring 33 and Ajmal Choudrhy 32 as Chris Mitchell took 3-24.

The Windy Grove side were cruising at 104-4 before reaching the last two overs needing 20 to win. In the penultimate over, the ball hit the keeper's helmet and that left ten to win off the last over. Sadly for them, they could only muster four runs.

Bradley batsman Neil Andrews made 70 not out and Craig Tempest added 33 as their side set a target of 171 for Long Lee at Matthew Lane.

But the Golden View side stormed to a fine five-wicket victory, with Richard Ayrton making 65 not out and Lee Humphreys 35 not out.

Jonathan Thompson (105) and James Bentley (99) put on 140 for the second wicket as Hepworth & Idle blasted their way to 288-8 at Cure Hill.

Oakworth II replied with 152, with Matty Lee making 40, Rob Hollingsworth 38 and Jack Ellis 34 as Thompson took 3-1 in 18 balls.

Denholme blasted 325-3 at home to Gargrave, Joe Greenwood hitting a splendid 126, Ben Birkill 91 and Toby Priestley 53 not out before the Skipton Road side replied with 106.

Another side to top 300 were Glusburn, who made 302-8 at home to Ingrow.

Matthew Lloyd hit nine sixes and 14 fours in a superb knock of 147, while Neil Freeman made 54 and Steve Brown 42.

The Hainworth side's blushes were saved by a gritty knock of 43 (seven fours) by 17-year-old Ben Weatherill, who – together with Dale Hoyle (20) – pushed the score from 51-7 to 103. Dave Atkinson claimed 6-23 and Mark Pickles 3-31.

The day's highest score came from Division Three leaders Cononley, who scored 368-4 at Penistone Park.

Herbie Starkey hit a magnificent 175 and Charles Calvert a fine 135 not out. Starkey then took 4-26 as Haworth West End were tumbled out for a measly 47.

Embsay are second after beating Ingrow St John's by four wickets at Street Lane.

Star of the show was Paul Wormald. First he took 3-19 to go with Sam Arkwright's 4-16 as the Saints were dismissed for 96, following this with 46 not out to see his side recover from 61-6 to garner the points.

Haworth Road are third after a narrow win over Sandy Lane at Greenwood Park.

The Baildon Bottom side made 194, with Paul Rodwell making 95 not out and Waj Mahmood 43. Ziar Khan (85no) threatened to take the game for the home side but they closed six runs short.

Another side to lose by six runs were Skipton CI, who entertained Eldwick & Gilstead. The visitors made a moderate 131-9 before the Sandylands side fell just short, with Jack Dixon taking 6-38 off 13 overs.

Another narrow victory came at Grange Road, where Riddlesden beat Denholme by one wicket, while Bradford & Bingley Thirds got the better of Barrowford by three wickets at Aire View.

In Division Five, Sutton II made 162-7, Glynn Thornton top-scoring with 47 as Zahid Shafait took 3-39.

Visitors Cowling were then knocked over for 109, with Tahir Mahmood making 42 as Tony Walton took 4-19 and Sam Solley 3-34.

Avais Nawaz (5-30) helped Cononley II back to the hut for 78 at home to Skipton CI, who stormed home by nine wickets with Mark Hodgson scoring 44.

At Golden View, hosts Long Lee amassed 208, with Matt Stowell scoring 76 and Tom Gill 41 as evergreen John Drake finished with 5-53. Visitors Bradley could only manage 94 in reply.

A strong Sandy Lane side saw off Ingrow by 153 runs.
