TOM Moses has been rewarded for all his efforts.

The JLT Condor rider finished second in the Ilkley Town Centre race behind Skipton's Pete Williams (One Pro Cycling), and tweeted: "700m climbing in last night's IlkleyCycling town centre race. hard circuit but enjoyed it."

The podium finish came on the back of the 23-year-old putting in a solid display in the Tour of Korea.

Moses was in the leading bunch on six of the eight days, and even on the two occasions he lost contact, it was only minimal, with him being three seconds adrift on stage three and two seconds behind on stage five.

He ended up 17th, 27th, 19th, 36th, 14th, 39th, 29th and 25th on successive days, finishing 13th overall in the 2.1 category race.

Having recovered from his jet lag, Moses also competed in the British National Road Race Championships in Lincolnshire on Sunday, being one of five JLT Condor riders that didn't finish, and neither did Williams.

However, Moses' team-mates Kristian House (12th), Richard Handley (14th) and Michael Cuming (25th) did register a time in the Louth race.
