AIREDALE Cricket Club have raised over £200 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance from their memorial day for former president and founder Ken 'Biff' Smith, who died last summer.
Two twenty20 matches were held, which included players who used to play with 'Biff', while members of his family were also in attendance in a crowd of about 100.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity was chosen by Biff's son Philip, and it is hoped that his was the first of many 'Biff' memorial days.
