KEIGHLEY'S recent resurgence in Division Two was halted by hosts Bowling Old Lane.
Ayyaz Akram made a fine 100 not out as he helped Lane to chase down a Keighley total of 237-6 to win by three wickets.
Akram's innings was punctuated with three sixes and 13 fours. He was supported by Ahsan Butt (42) as their side climbed to fourth in the table.
Hammy Shahzad was chief wicket-taker for Keighley with 3-51.
Keighley's score owed much to an unbeaten 83 from wicketkeeper Jonathan Wilkinson and a knock of 40 by Sam Murphy.
Defeat left the Lawkholme Laners fourth from bottom, 18 points behind the side above them, Hartshead Moor.
Meanwhile, Keighley II became the first side to be relegated this season after their 101-run defeat by Lightcliffe II, who eased their fears of dropping down a division at the same time.
Skipper Michael Brooke (90) and Alex Tait (51) top-scored for Lightcliffe in a total of 224-9. George Heartfield (4-28) and Ashley Robinson (3-50) were the pick of the Keighley bowlers.
Keighley were bowled out for 123 in reply, with Alex Kennedy (5-31) and Marcus Kelly (4-39) inflicting the damage.
