OAKWORTH'S bid for a Mewies Solicitors Craven League cup double is still on track.
With the first team having a Wynn Cup final replay at Ingrow on Sunday, September 6, Oaks' second team kept no-one waiting in their Cowling Cup semi-final at Crossflatts.
Home openers Bryan Freimanis (10) and Kieran Temprell (17) both made double figures but they were only two of the 11 to do so as they were hustled out for 47 in 27 overs. Richard Linden took 5-23 and Richard Cavender (pictured) 3-5.
Oakworth went on to a ten-wicket victory in 8.4 overs, with wicket-keeper Matty Lee 31 not out and Chris Mooney 12 not out.
Embsay will meet Oakworth in the final at Denholme on Sunday (1.00).
