Otley Town 3 Oxenhope 3
SEAN Quinlan’s hat-trick inspired Oxenhope’s fightback in a six-goal thriller at Otley in midweek.
Quinlan had opened the scoring midway through the first half after a good run from Tom Marshall had opened up the home defence.
But Otley were quickly back on level terms as a ricochet off a defender wrong-footed keeper Sam Lee.
Worse was to follow for Oxenhope, who fell further behind five minutes before half-time.
Oxenhope responded quickly in the first minute of the second half, Dan Moriarty’s corner falling to Quinlan to shoot home on the turn.
And he soon bagged his treble with a finish from Leon Smith’s speedy dash down the right wing.
Oxenhope: S Lee, White, McNicol, Nelson, Walton (Wells), Hopkinson (W Lee), Quinlan, Smith (Williamson), Moriarty, Marshall.
