OAKWORTH like odd-numbered years.

Mewies Solicitors Craven League Division One champions in 2011 and 2013, they have now added the 2015 version.

Bingley Congs were no match for them at Beckfoot Lane as Ben Howell took 6-38 and Jack Davison 3-30 in a 148 total that owed much to Australian Tom Mackenzie (37).

Neil Copping (4-48) sewed some doubts in a 15-over spell but the visitors had almost eight overs to spare when they triumphed by five wickets after Jack Hainsworth (44) and Gareth Marshall (42) had laid the platform with an opening stand of 66, skipper Michael Scarborough finishing things off with 33 not out.

The sides meet again on Sunday in a Wynn Cup final replay at Ingrow (noon).

Second-placed Ingrow St John's lost by 63 runs at Haworth, for whom Dan Trowers (49), Aaron Putko (43no) and Harry Reynoldson (36) were instrumental in them reaching 188, despite Omar Khatab (4-21) and Wasim Hussain (4-40).

Deepal Dissanayake carried his bat for 72 in the reply but Saints could only make 125 as Stephen Bell (4-44) and Damian Rowell (4-57) put them on the back foot and Trowers (2-6) finished them off.

There could be mixed emotions at Sutton over the final fortnight.

Foulridge's comprehensive win at home to Haworth Road Meths has put Sutton's first team back in a relegation place in Division One.

However, Bradley's derby win at Cowling, coupled with Sutton second string's victory at Cononley, has put them back on top of an exciting Division Five title race.

Sutton must have been hopeful in the top flight when Richard Walker's 7-44 helped to dismiss visitors Riddlesden for 105.

However, Sutton only had two players in double figures as they were castled for 73.

Sutton, who have top-half teams Bingley Congs (home) and Haworth (away) to play, are a point behind Foulridge, who are at Embsay and at home to Barrowford.

Glusburn and Cowling are neck and neck in the are to be promoted alongside Denholme in Division Two.

Cowling won a last-ball thriller at Bradley, who made 129, of which opener Matt Buckmaster scored 47 as Avijeet Ghosh took 7-31.

Top three Mike Dudley and Ben Davy (23 each) and Ajmal Choudhry (26) then made Cowling favourites but they only triumphed by two wickets off the last ball as James Heseltine (3-30) and two run outs caused a major wobble.

Denholme were always favourites after making 249-8 at Glusburn, for whom Mark Pickles took 4-73, and the home side could only reply with 155, Ian Simons top-scoring with 33.

However, in what could be a pivotal weekend, leaders Oakworth are at Cowling on Saturday, while Denholme host Glusburn as the top four meet.

Airedale had no answer to Jack Ellis (7-29) as they were dismissed for 83 at Wide Lan, Oakworth winning by eight wickets in just 13.2overs.

Glusburn's second team are back in a demotion berth in Division Four but kept hosts Crossflatts batting for 41.1 overs before the leaders won by two wickets.
