Silsden 2, Winsford United 3
SILSDEN failed to grasp the opportunity to leapfrog Winsford United in the Premier Division as their opponents edged a five-goal North West Counties League clash at the Angel Telecom Stadium.
The home side struck first as Chris Wademan netted a neat finish on the quarter-hour mark but the visitors led at the break after a quickfire double from Danny Eagan.
In the second half, Winsford's Sam Cook intercepted a defensive pass to give the visitors a 3-1 lead and they looked to be cruising to a win.
Cobbydalers leading scorer Craig Nicholls then came off the bench to score but his goal came just three minutes from time, just too late to spark a comeback.
