SPORTING Keighley are favourites for the second promotion spot in Division One of the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League.

Their 4-1 win at Skipton Town lifted them a place from third, with goals coming from man of the match Alhassaine Keita, Mohammed Ammer, Shazad Khan and Sikander Shan.

However, Oxenhope Rec had a week to forget, losing 2-1 at Bingley Town and 7-1 at Skipton Town, with man of the match Joel Gallagher scoring against Bingley, while Ben Manning took the award against Skipton.

Meanwhile, Broomhill's promotion bid in Division Two had an unexpected setback when the second-placed club lost 3-1 at home to mid-table Settle United Reserves, with substitute Michael Turner getting the goal and Aaron Whitaker the man-of-the-match gong.
