DIVISION 4A leaders Sandy Lane II saw off bottom side Oakworth III by six wickets at Greenwood Park.

The Cure Hill side made 140, with Niall Saynor scoring 69 as Raj Farooq took 7-25, before Zeesham Aslam (59) and Rana Abbas (44no) helped the hosts to victory.

Foulridge are second after they travelled to Bronteland and won by 108 runs, Neil Rollins (4-45) doing best for Haworth II, who perished for 80, while Barrowford are third after a solid win over Sutton at Bull Holme.

Simon Todd (76) and Stuart Tillotson (65) helped the visitors to 177 before the Lancastrians triumphed by six wickets.

Next-to-bottom Glusburn II can’t buy a win from anywhere, despite rattling up 183-4, led by Iain Beattie (61) and Alan Coney (41).

Airedale II then galloped home by six wickets, thanks to Paul Feather (64no) and Asad Ejaz (54no).

In Division 4B, leaders Skipton CI II had a superb win at Bingley Congs III, who posted a creditable 199-8, with Wayne Exley scoring 47 and Nathan Allatt 33.

The visitors stormed to a three-wicket win in only 28.1 overs as Congs used all eight of their bowlers, the best of which was Dan Marshall, who finished with 3-37.

Cowling II are second after seeing off Gargrave II at The Coliseum.

John Cleaver (65) and Tahir Mahmood (52) helped the home side to 216-6 but the visitors' top contributor was 'Mr Extras' with 30 as they crashed to 85 all out, with Sajid Shafait taking 4-6.

Long Lee II went down by five wickets at home to Ingrow II, Dale Hoyle (4-33 and 37) being the star for the winners.

Finally, there was a tie between Wilsden II and Bradley II at Windy Grove.

The Matthew Lane side made 159-8, with under-14 Elliott Wilson making 44 and over-50 John Drake 33 as Paul Kirby took 3-34.

Neil Jagger (44) and Alan King (35) led the reply of 159 as under-15 Frank Watkinson finished with 3-17.
