There were two re-arranged friendly fixtures tonight as Eccleshill United hosted a Tadcaster Albion XI while Silsden made the journey to Harrogate Railway.
The Cobbydalers should have been at Burnley United but sent their first team to Station View and a young side to take on local league outfit Crossflatts. James Gill’s men earned a 1-1 draw against the Rail, scoring a first-half equaliser after falling behind.
The Eagles also went a goal down at home to Taddy following an early penalty but they led 2-1 at the interval and ran out 3-2 winners.
