JACK Beetham guided Keighley II to a three-wicket victory at Birstall II with an unbeaten 78 in a low-scoring second-team Championship A encounter.
The hosts were dismissed for 139 as Ashley Robinson (4-28) and Harry Barker (3-31) were the Lawkholme Laners' chief wicket-takers.
Beetham entered the fray with Keighley 16-1 and saw his side to their target with eight fours and two sixes in his 104-ball knock.
Keighley's first team came down to earth after beating high-flying Undercliffe the previous week as visitors Birstall romped to a 125-run win in Championship A.
Half-centuries from Craig Wood (79), Ian Carradice (67) and Alexander Debs (52) enabled them to make 276 despite Keighley skipper Alex Towler taking 6-57.
Andy Wear made a determined 61 for the hosts but his side were bowled out for 151 as Alexander Drake picked up 4-29.
Keighley head to Ossett on Saturday, while the seconds entertain the same club.
