KEIGHLEY boxer Muhammad Ali bowed out of the Rio Olympics this afternoon after losing his first bout.
Ali was beaten by Venezuelan Yoel Segundo Finol, who claimed a unanimous points victory in the last-16 contest.
In a scrappy fight, the South American southpaw proved an awkward opponent for the former Bradford College pupil, who showed plenty of intent but was unable to land any significant punches.
Finol was awarded the bout 30-27, winning each round 10-9 according to each of the three judges.
