CRAIG Bartlett led Oxenhope back to the top of the Division One table with an outstanding century as his side overwhelmed Stones by 115 runs in the Spenser Wilson Halifax League.

Opener Bartlett posted 120 as, supported by Lewis Hopkinson (66) and big-hitters Jack Barker (59) and Joseph Ousey (51), Oxenhope rattled up an emphatic 344-8 total.

The bowlers could not quite match the batsmen as they were unable to pick up all the Stones wickets in a reply of 229-8, with 11 points being the reward.

Liam Dyson led the attack with three of the wickets, Tom Mawer and Robin Cusdin claiming two apiece.

With three games to go, Oxenhope now have a 19-point gap back to third-placed Bridgeholme, who they play next week.

Oxenhope 2nds suffered a 108-run loss to Queensbury but claimed five valuable bonus points as they moved 15 points clear of safety.

Queensbury were all out for 247, with 16-year-old Adam Horrocks claiming 5-33 in 8.2 overs. Eddie Jackson also had an outstanding game, following up his 4-19 return with 55 in Oxenhope's reply of 160.
