WAYNE Bennett is heading for Cougar Park in a world-exclusive event for Keighley rugby league fans.

The legendary England and Brisbane Broncos head coach is widely regarded as the greatest of all time in the 13-man code.

Ahead of the 2016 Four Nations – Bennett’s first competitive tournament in charge of England – MJK Sports Events, with thanks to the RFL and the man himself, are bringing an evening with Bennett to the home of the Cougars on Thursday, October 27 (7pm).

Bennett has seven NRL Premierships, three World Cup Challenge victories and five State of Origin titles to his name.

He has also spent the longest time with one club as he prepares to enter his 22nd as Brisbane coach.

A member of the Order of Australia and inductee into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame, Bennett has brought through greats of the modern game such as Darren Lockyer and Sam Thaiday as well as building the Broncos to being the biggest brand in world rugby league.

Bennett is also a World Cup winning-assistant coach, assisting Stephen Kearney in 2008 as New Zealand defeated Australia to be crowned the first World Cup winners in eight years after a playing career which saw Bennett represent both his country and his state either side of a spell in England playing for Huddersfield.

The interviewer on the evening will be Lee Phelps alongside MC Pete Emmett and the evening will also include an audience Q&A session.

Tickets are on sale now for £35 and include a three-course meal with proceeds being donated to aid grassroots rugby league.
