WHEN you have conceded 126 goals between you in 16 matches and scored 68, the last result you would expect when you meet is a 0-0 draw.

However, that is exactly what happened when Broomhill Reserves (for 38, against 70) faced Settle United Thirds (for 30, against 56) in Division Three of the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League at Marley Stadium.

Broomhill Reserves stayed tenth and Settle United Thirds ninth.

Silsden Whitestar Reserves are up to second after a 5-2 victory at Sutton, with Bradley Fay (3) and Ryan Narey (2) netting for the winners, with Aiden Robertson and man of the match Ben Wilson replying.

Cowling are up to eighth on the back of an 11-0 win over cellar dwellers Bradley.

Jamie Abbott led the spree with six, with Rory Entwhistle, Callum Lowe, Alasdair McEwan and Gareth Sharpe also on the scoresheet.

Sporting Keighley have dropped into a relegation place in the Premier Division after a 3-0 home defeat to second-placed Settle United.

However, it was 0-0 after 70 minutes, injuries and tiredness then taking their toll for Sporting, who lost their centre back and left back to injuries, with both wingers staying on the pitch despite also suffering from injuries.

Settle went ahead in the 75th minute with a header from a free-kick and added two more goals in the final five minutes.

Man of the match for Sporting was keeper Dawood Qayum, who made some good saves.

Oxenhope Recreation, still without a win in Division One, went close in a 4-3 defeat at Bingley Juniors, while fourth-placed Cononley Sports held Division Two leaders Hellifield Sports to a 2-2 draw.
