COUGARS have signed winger Callum Dunne on a one-year contract.

Dunne joined Keighley on trial following his release from Halifax after four years at The Shay and has impressed head coach Craig Lingard in pre-season.

He has scored five tries, his consolation effort in Cougars' defeat at Barrow last week adding to a four-try haul in the 84-12 victory over the Hunslet Warriors in early January.

Dunne spent a brief spell with Cougars reserves in 2015 and has also played for Halifax-based amateur side King Cross Park.
