SILSDEN Whitestar continue to put pressure on top two Settle United and Rolls in the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League Premier Division.

The Cobbydalers triumphed 4-0 at mid-table Trawden Celtic, courtesy of goals from Sam Stanfield (3) and James Wilson, and trail leaders United by four points with a game in hand.

Rolls, who are third favourites despite being second in the table, defeated visitors Sporting Keighley 7-0, with Habib Aslam doing best for the losers.

Shock result of the day in Division One was next-to-bottom Bradley's 6-3 triumph at fourth-placed Chatburn, with David Hunt and Miles Thompson both bagging braces.

Sam Baldwin and Chris Hogg made up the tally for the visitors, who now have Bingley Juniors looking nervously over their shoulders.

Cellar dwellers Oxenhope Recreation's season doesn't get any better, however, as they went down 4-0 at home to Manningham Allstars – their 23rd successive league defeat, 18 of which have come this season.

Cross Hills Reserves took advantage of Skipton Town Reserves' involvement in the divisional cup to move out of the relegation places in Division Two.

The south Craven club won 4-1 at fellow strugglers Barnoldswick Barons, thanks to goals by Josh Jordan, Luke Newton, Joshua Page and substitute John Thompson.

Both teams had a man sent off – Sam Smith for Cross Hills and Alex Senior for the Barons.

In Division Three, second-half goals by Simon Cox (2) and Mark Bradley made the difference for leaders Silsden Whitestar Reserves in a 3-0 win at Bingley Juniors Reserves.

The front-runners were further heartened when they found out that Ilkley – their main title rivals – had been held to a 1-1 draw at tenth-placed Cowling Reserves, Alasdair MeEwan netting for the hosts.

Eighth-placed Broomhill Reserves also made heads turn with their 3-2 home victory over fourth-placed Horton, with Mark Hardman, Chris Holroyd and substitute Dale Duff on target for the winners.

There was no joy, however, for bottom club Bradley Reserves, who lost 5-1 at home to third-placed Barlick Wanderers.

Andrew Hardeman got Bradley's goal, with Lee Britain being their best player.
